The Natural Products Association, Washington, D.C. has hired Corey Hilmas, MD, PhD, as senior vice president of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs. Dr. Hilmas, a medical doctor with a degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a doctorate in pharmacology and toxicology, previously served as chief of the dietary supplement regulation implementation branch under the Division of Dietary Supplement Programs at the U.S. FDA for more than two years.
